Holidaze

The holidays are over! Here's some Christmas pictures and Christmas morning shots. Also introducing our new puppy Frankie aka Frank the Tank! Dallas has started walking and saying "dada"! His 1st birthday feels like it's right around the corner and I've already started planning. I will post up all the details soon!

Just boys...

So I had this great idea of doing family pictures... which basically turned into me just taking pictures as usual because there is NO way to get Dallas to look at the camera, let alone wait for the timer to go off on the tripod and hope that he's looking in the right direction. We had keys jingling, both boys making loud noises and funny faces, Ryan waving the reflector in his face, every trick in the book... and still I maybe got 3 good ones of all of them? So instead this turned into some fall photos of the boys. Looks like I'll be paying someone else to take our family photos again....

And yes, Jordan and Justin are looking WAY too grown up in these pictures.

8 months old!

Finally getting around to putting up these 8 month pictures. I must say it's getting harder and harder to get pix of this guy. Trying to get him to look in my direction for one, and not trying to crawl away!

7 months of Dallas

Dallas is actually 8 months now (another post to come with pix), but to make a nice even picture I compiled these from the last 7 months. It is seriously crazy how much this guy has changed and how fast he's grown. He wasn't even on the growth chart the first 6 months of his life and now he's a beef cake. Feeding himself, crawling all over, pulling up on everything he can reach, climbing (ya... super scary!), and even attempting to stand on his own. Yet after 8 months... still no teefies!!!

Had the privilege of taking some family photos of our cousins yesterday. I love when I go to edit and every picture brings a smile to my face. It's these happy moments shared between loved ones that makes me fall in love with photography all over again.

  

7 months old

Figured it was fitting to take these pictures with his pumpkin. Dallas started crawling this month. Loves to jump, blow raspberries (even with food in his mouth and blow it all over), can pick up food with pincer grasp. Sitting up on his own. He's a pro around the house in his walker, goes after poor Romo all the time. Sleeping 13+ hours straight at night, usually the last one in the house to wake up! Gives hugs and kisses (very wet ones). He is always happy and very easy going, and we constantly get compliments on how good of a baby he is. He makes being a mommy so easy.

Meet the Fletchers

Aaron and Amy are good friends of ours, and we have gotten to know them more and more these past few months. It was a beautiful wedding with great friends and I can only wish them all the happiness they deserve (which is lots)!
